VIRGINIA — Lynchburg Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Friday night in the 1600 block of 12th Street.
Officers responded to the area around 10:56 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired.
Investigators said someone in one vehicle shot into another, grazing a man with a bullet.
The victim was taken to the hospital and later released. Police believe the shooting was targeted and said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
