VIRGINIA — A man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following an early morning shooting in Richmond, according to the Richmond Police Department.
Authorities said officers responded around 1:47 a.m. Thursday to the 2300 block of Venable Street after receiving reports of a person who had been shot.
When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where officials said his injuries are considered life-threatening.
No information about a suspect has been released.
