
VIRGINIA — A juvenile was injured in an early morning shooting in Richmond on Sunday, according to police.
Officers with the Richmond Police Department responded around 12:48 a.m. on March 1 to the 2000 block of Brook Road for a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound to his left foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
No additional information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting was immediately available.
