
TEXAS — A man was shot early Sunday morning after he allegedly pointed a gun at three security guards outside a North Side business, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Police said the shooting occurred just after 2:30 a.m. in the 700 block of East Sonterra Boulevard.
According to investigators, security guards had asked the man to leave the business because he was causing a disturbance. The three guards then escorted him to his vehicle.
As the man reached his vehicle, police said he retrieved a firearm and pointed it at the guards. One of the security guards then shot the man.
The 35-year-old man was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation.
