NORTH CAROLINA — Police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Monday afternoon in Lumberton.
According to the Lumberton Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of a store on Roberts Avenue.
Officials said one person was shot during the incident. The victim’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
Police remained on the scene as they continued their investigation.
