SOUTH CAROLINA — A 32-year-old man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries following an early morning shooting at a home on Shanklin Road, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a report of a shooting around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. When they arrived at the home, they found the victim inside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Preliminary findings indicate that the shots were fired from outside the home. The man was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The investigation remains active.
