SOUTH CAROLINA — The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was shot and hospitalized Thursday night.
Deputies responded around 10:20 p.m. to a home on Big Estate Road after receiving a report of a gunshot victim. When they arrived, they found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital. His condition has not been released, authorities said.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
