PENNSYLVANIA — A man is hospitalized after being shot Tuesday night in Allegheny County.
According to county dispatchers, reports of a shooting came in Tuesday evening near Palisades Plaza in Rankin. First responders were sent to the area and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.
The victim was transported to a hospital, where officials said he is in critical but stable condition.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Authorities said a suspect has been taken into custody, but the individual’s identity has not been released. No additional details were immediately available as the investigation remains ongoing.
