PENNSYLVANIA — A man was seriously injured early Friday morning in a shooting in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood.
Pittsburgh police, fire crews, and EMS responded to the 400 block of Omega Court around 1 a.m. after receiving reports of a man suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders found an unresponsive man in his thirties outside with a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was transported to a hospital, where he was last listed in critical condition.
Investigators believe the shooting occurred inside a home on Omega Court following an altercation. Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
