OHIO — A man was injured in a shooting early Friday morning at Stanley Rowe Towers, a public housing complex in the city’s West End, according to Cincinnati police.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the complex on Linn Street, which is owned by the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority.
Police said the victim, described as a Black man in his early 30s, was shot in the back. Initial indications suggest the shooting took place inside the building.
The man was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Police did not immediately release information about his condition.
No suspects are currently in custody, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
