OHIO — Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting that left a man seriously injured in the downtown area early Sunday morning.
According to officers, the shooting occurred near the intersection of 8th and Walnut streets.
The male victim, identified only as a Black man, was shot in the left side of his chest and left hip. He ran from the scene to Central Parkway, where he collapsed.
Emergency crews transported the victim to UC Medical Center. He is reported to be in serious condition.
Central Parkway at Court Street was closed as police continued their investigation. No suspect has been identified at this time.
