OHIO — One person was hospitalized Monday afternoon following a shooting in the Winton Hills neighborhood.
According to the Cincinnati Police Department, the shooting occurred around 2:39 p.m. in the 4900 block of Winneste Avenue.
Police said the victim arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound and later confirmed the location where the shooting took place. Authorities believe the victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.
Investigators have not released a description of a suspect. Police also did not provide the victim’s age or details about what led to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
