OHIO — One person was injured in a shooting on New Year’s Eve in Springfield, according to police.
Officers with the Springfield Police Division were called to the 1800 block of Tibbetts Avenue around 2:50 p.m., a police lieutenant said.
Police confirmed that a female was shot during the incident, but her condition was not immediately available. Authorities said a person of interest has been taken into custody.
