One person injured following shooting incident in Ohio

OHIO — One person was hospitalized following a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning in Dayton.

Emergency crews were called to the area of North Main Street and East Parkwood Drive around 2:08 a.m. after reports of gunfire.

According to a sergeant with the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center, the incident is being investigated as a drive-by shooting.

The victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital, though their condition has not been released.

Police are continuing to search for the vehicle involved in the shooting.

No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
