OHIO — One person was critically injured in a shooting in the University District early Saturday morning, according to a Columbus public safety dispatcher.
Police were called to the intersection of North High Street and East 14th Avenue around 2:40 a.m. on a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a victim with a gunshot wound.
The individual was transported to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in critical condition.
Authorities said one person was detained at the scene. No further details have been released as the investigation continues.
