OHIO — One person was critically injured in a shooting early Friday morning in the 300 block of South Guilford Avenue, near Sullivant Avenue.
According to a Columbus public safety dispatcher, the incident occurred at approximately 5:52 a.m.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
One individual was detained at the scene, and a firearm was recovered on the front porch of a nearby home, the dispatcher said.
No further details have been released as the investigation continues.
