NORTH CAROLINA — A person was hospitalized Sunday morning after a shooting at a downtown Raleigh apartment complex, police said.
The shooting was reported around 7:30 a.m. at 400 E. Davie Street. Officers arriving at the scene placed yellow police tape around one of the apartment buildings, and several Raleigh Police Department vehicles were visible outside.
Authorities confirmed one person was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound. No further details about the victim or possible suspects have been released.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
