NORTH CAROLINA — Raleigh police are investigating after a man was shot Monday afternoon on East Millbrook Road.
Officers responded just after 4:45 p.m. to reports of a shooting in the area. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said he was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The victim’s name has not been released, and no arrests have been made. Police said they do not currently have a suspect in custody.
All eastbound lanes of Millbrook Road between Green Road and Capital Boulevard remain closed as officers and detectives investigate.
