NORTH CAROLINA — One person was seriously injured in a shooting early Saturday morning in uptown Charlotte, according to MEDIC.
The incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. in a parking lot on East 7th Street near the ImaginOn building.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported one individual to a hospital with serious injuries.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear, and no additional details have been released at this time.
