
KENTUCKY — Police are investigating a shooting that injured a man Monday morning in the Shawnee neighborhood of Louisville.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, officers were called around 10:20 a.m. to the area of 41st and Herman streets following reports of gunfire. When police arrived, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand.
Authorities said the man’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. He was treated by emergency responders, though additional details about his condition were not released.
As of Monday, police said there are no known suspects in the case, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
