INDIANA — One person was injured in a shooting Monday night in Elkhart, and police are searching for a suspect.
According to authorities, the shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Tamarack Drive on the city’s northwest side.
Police said a 20-year-old man was found outside a home with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
