GEORGIA — A man was hospitalized Saturday afternoon following a shooting in southeast Atlanta, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting near the 800 block of Lakeside Village Drive SE. At the scene, authorities observed a large police presence and crime scene tape in the Villages of East Lake apartment complex.
Police said the victim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital by a private vehicle, where he is being treated for a gunshot wound.
No information has been released about the victim’s condition or any potential suspects.
