FLORIDA — Deputies with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning.
According to officials, the shooting was reported around 6 a.m. on Jan. 21 on Gary Circle. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. Deputies said his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and he is expected to survive.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately released, and the investigation remains ongoing.
