ALABAMA — Huntsville Police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Thursday afternoon on Powell Drive.
According to police, officers received a report of shots fired near Blue Springs Road around 4:15 p.m. When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities said officers remain on scene working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Investigators believe the incident appears to be isolated and said there is no expected danger to the public.
