TENNESSEE — A woman was injured late Monday night after gunshots were fired into an apartment in East Nashville, according to Metro Police.
The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. in the 600 block of South 5th Street.
Authorities said two shots were fired through an apartment window, with one striking the woman in the arm.
She was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
Investigators are currently reviewing video surveillance footage from the area as they work to identify a suspect.
The investigation remains ongoing.
