GEORGIA — Police are investigating a shooting that took place Friday afternoon at a local barber shop.
The Albany Police Department, along with its gang unit, responded to reports of gunfire at Next Up Master Cuts Barber Shop, located at 1604 W. Broad Avenue, shortly after 2:30 p.m.
One man was shot and taken to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment. Authorities said he is in stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
