OHIO — A person was injured early Wednesday morning in a crash involving two semi-trucks on Interstate 70 westbound in Preble County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Dayton Post, troopers responded to the scene around 12:51 a.m. near the five-mile marker. The crash scattered debris across the interstate and forced the closure of all westbound lanes toward the Ohio/Indiana line.

All lanes remained closed for nearly five hours before reopening around 5:30 a.m., OSHP said.

One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
