TENNESSEE — A crash involving two school buses Monday morning left one person injured, though no students were hurt, officials said.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Fergus Road and North Lowry Street. Rutherford County Schools officials said a smaller transport bus reportedly turned in front of a larger school bus, which then struck the smaller bus on its side.
The larger bus was carrying 11 students and its driver, while the smaller bus had only a driver and an aide on board. A woman on the smaller bus was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
