OHIO — A small plane crashed in a field in Auglaize County, Ohio, on Friday afternoon, leaving one person injured.
The crash occurred around 1:30 p.m., about 120 miles northwest of Cincinnati.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2005 Beechcraft A36 single-engine aircraft was flying from New Knoxville, Ohio, to Romeoville, Illinois, when its engine failed.
The pilot performed an emergency landing in an agricultural field.
The pilot was not injured, but a passenger was taken to Joint Township District Memorial Hospital.
