TEXAS — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday night after a crash involving a flatbed trailer on San Antonio’s east side, according to police.
The San Antonio Police Department said officers were called around 8:13 p.m. to the northbound access road of Northeast Loop 410 near Rigsby Avenue for a major accident.
Police said a 49-year-old motorcyclist crashed into a flatbed trailer after the trailer driver ran a red light at the intersection.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, authorities said.
The driver of the trailer remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Police said the crash remains under investigation and information released so far could change as the investigation continues.
