OHIO — An Urbana man was treated for minor injuries following a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in Champaign County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers reported the crash occurred just after 3:45 p.m. on September 21 along State Route 161, south of milepost 1 in Union Township.
Investigators said 65-year-old Daniel Shockey was riding a 2014 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Limited southwest when he lost control and veered off the right side of the road.
Shockey was taken by ground ambulance to Mercy Health – Urbana Hospital. Troopers determined he was at fault and cited him for failure to maintain reasonable control of a motor vehicle.
The Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
