TEXAS — Police are searching for a driver after a hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist Friday night in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called to the 10200 block of Wurzbach Road around 10 p.m. for a reported collision.
Authorities said a man was riding an electronic bike when he was struck from behind by a silver SUV. The driver fled the scene before officers arrived and did not render aid or contact authorities.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Officials stated that once identified, the driver is expected to face a charge of collision involving injury.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
