TENNESSEE — The Knoxville Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a woman injured Wednesday night on North Broadway.
Police responded to the 1700 block of North Broadway after receiving reports that a woman had been struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. According to KPD, a bystander said the woman had just left the nearby Kenjo gas station and was attempting to cross the street when she was hit.
The woman was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with injuries that were believed to be non-life-threatening.
Investigators said they do not yet have information about the driver or a description of the vehicle involved.
