OHIO — A two-vehicle head-on crash briefly closed a portion of County Road 10 Wednesday morning in Logan County, authorities said.

The collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. just after the intersection of Township Road 55. Officials said blowing and drifting snow were contributing factors in the crash, which caused hazardous driving conditions in the area.

At least one person was injured and transported to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment. Authorities said the injuries were believed to be minor.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash, with assistance from Bellefontaine EMS and Tri-Valley EMS at the scene. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews responded and cleared the area.

No additional details about the drivers or vehicles involved have been released. Authorities said updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
