VIRGINIA — A 38-year-old man was injured in an aggravated assault early Saturday morning, according to the Danville Police Department.
Officers responded around 3:30 a.m. to reports of an unconscious man found in a parking lot near the 600 block of Lynn Street.
The victim was taken to SOVAH Health before being transferred to another medical facility for further treatment. Police have not released his current condition.
Authorities are asking anyone with information or video footage from the area to come forward.
