
NORTH CAROLINA — One person was injured Wednesday morning in a crash involving a school bus on Barker Ten Mile Road in Robeson County, according to authorities.
First Sgt. S.B. Lewis said an SUV crashed into the rear of a school bus that was transporting six students to Saint Paul’s High School. Officials said the students and the bus driver were not injured in the crash.
The driver of the SUV was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Authorities said charges are pending against the SUV driver as the investigation continues.
The crash is being investigated by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. No additional details about the cause of the crash were immediately released.
