
FLORIDA — A driver was injured Monday morning when their car became stuck underneath a school bus, authorities say.
The New Smyrna Beach Police Department reports the crash occurred on SR-44 near Hughes Road around 6:30 a.m.
The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and was flown to a hospital for treatment.
One child was on the school bus at the time of the crash but was not injured. Police are warning motorists to expect delays in the area.
