
OHIO — Toledo police are investigating after a car crashed into the front of a home in west Toledo early Thursday morning, causing significant damage.
The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Charlestown Avenue and Douglas Road.
According to officers at the scene, the driver lost control of the vehicle, striking a curb, a fire hydrant, and another car before crashing into the home.
A resident inside the house was sitting on the couch at the time of the crash. They were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, police said. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. No charges have been announced.
