PENNSYLVANIA — A 71-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle early Tuesday morning in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood.
Pittsburgh Public Safety reported the incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. near the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Oakland Avenue. The man was found unconscious with a head injury at the scene.
Authorities said the driver remained on site following the crash.
The incident is currently under investigation.
