OHIO — A pedestrian was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle early Sunday in west Toledo.
The crash occurred shortly after midnight in the 5000 block of Monroe Street.
According to Toledo police, the pedestrian was walking northbound across Monroe Street when they were hit by an eastbound vehicle.
The driver, identified as 59-year-old Juli Yocum of Toledo, was arrested and charged with failure to stop after an accident, police said.
Yocum was not injured in the crash.
The pedestrian, whose identity has not been released, was taken to the hospital.
