
OHIO — A 24-year-old pedestrian was hospitalized Monday night following a hit-and-run crash in west Toledo, police said.
According to Toledo police, the pedestrian was crossing Jackman Road from westbound Alexis Road around 9:39 p.m. when they were struck in the crosswalk by a vehicle turning left onto Jackman Road from eastbound Alexis Road.
Investigators said the pedestrian had the right of way at the time of the crash.
The driver fled the scene on foot and has not been located.
Police did not release details about the pedestrian’s condition. The incident remains under investigation.
