OHIO — A child is in critical condition after being struck by a car while riding a bicycle Tuesday afternoon, according to Colerain Township police.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. on Aug. 19 at the intersection of Coogan Drive and Compton Road. Police said the child was rushed to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where they remain in critical but stable condition. The child’s age has not been released.
Investigators said the driver of the car stayed at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.
The Colerain Police Safety Traffic Unit is handling the investigation and asks anyone with information to contact the Colerain Township Police Department.
