OHIO — A service technician was seriously injured Tuesday after being struck by a dump truck on U.S. 250, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).
Troopers responded shortly after 12:15 p.m. to reports of a crash. OSHP said the technician was working on the left front tire of a disabled vehicle when a dump truck drifted onto the shoulder and hit him.
The 24-year-old technician was flown to a hospital with serious injuries. The dump truck left the scene, but troopers located the driver and vehicle a few hours later.
The crash remains under investigation.
