
KANSAS — A woman is in custody after allegedly running over another woman with a vehicle following an argument early Sunday morning in rural Pottawatomie County.
According to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a 911 call at around 12:35 a.m. on June 22 in the 20000 block of Pauling Run Road.
Upon arrival, authorities determined that Dana Blume, 43, of Onaga, had intentionally struck Kara Murray, 52, of Wamego, with a vehicle.
Murray sustained serious injuries in the incident and was flown by helicopter to an area hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment.
Blume was arrested at the scene and is being held at the Pottawatomie County Jail. She faces a charge of attempted second-degree murder and is awaiting a bond hearing.
