
INDIANA — A man is recovering in the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in downtown Indianapolis Monday morning, according to police.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded around 7 a.m. to the intersection of West Maryland Street and South West Street, near Victory Field, for a crash involving a pedestrian.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition. Police have not released any additional details about the suspect or vehicle involved.
The incident remains under investigation.
