FLORIDA — A 14-year-old riding an e-bike was struck by a car Monday morning while on his way to school, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the crash at 8:57 a.m. at the intersection of Howland Boulevard and Roble Lane.
Officials said the boy was conscious at the scene and was airlifted to a hospital in the Orlando area. He is not a student in Volusia County Schools.
