One person injured after being shot multiple times in Ohio

OHIO — A 35-year-old man was hospitalized with serious injuries after being shot early Sunday morning in the Point Place neighborhood.

According to police, officers were near Manhattan Boulevard and Suder Avenue around 2 a.m. when they heard several gunshots.

They soon spotted a vehicle speeding away from the area and discovered that a passenger inside had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers followed the vehicle to a local hospital, where the victim was admitted for treatment.

A short time later, investigators located a crime scene in the 3500 block of Willow Brook Lane. The shooting remains under investigation.
