SOUTH CAROLINA — A man sought his own medical help Saturday night after being shot on Maxwell Street in Florence, authorities said.
According to Interim Police Chief Stephen Starling, the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and drove himself to a hospital for treatment.
Starling said the man declined to pursue charges and refused to cooperate further with investigators.
No suspect information has been released, and police have not disclosed additional details about the incident.
