One person injured after becoming pinned inside vehicle in Pennsylvania

PENNSYLVANIA — A driver was injured after becoming pinned inside a vehicle following a crash early Tuesday morning in Robinson Township.

The crash occurred in the 5500 block of Steubenville Pike. According to the Moon Run Volunteer Fire Company, emergency crews responded to the scene and found the driver trapped in the wreckage.

Firefighters were able to free the driver and place them in the care of paramedics. The driver was then transported to a hospital for treatment. The extent of the injuries was not immediately available.

Authorities said there was no initial word on what caused the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
