One person indicted for Ohio murder

OHIO — A Cuyahoga County Grand Jury has indicted a Cleveland man in connection with the murder of 29-year-old Matthew Cooper.

Richard Marshall, 43, faces multiple charges, including murder, felonious assault, having weapons while under disability, tampering with evidence, and offenses against a human corpse.

According to Cleveland police, Cooper was shot on Jan. 12 in the area of West 81st Street and Wakefield Avenue in the city’s Detroit Shoreway neighborhood.

He was then transported to the 2300 block of West 11th Street in Tremont.

Marshall is scheduled for arraignment on Jan. 24.
